Passport to Japan 2019

Part of the Family Sunday program. the Japan America Society of St.Louis will present visitors to the museum with a hands-on origami workshop,  bon-o-dori dances (including several with audience participation), taiko drum performances, and a  shishi-mi lion dance.

 Celebrating the history, culture, and people of Japan, the Japanese Festival at the Missouri Botanical Garden is the largest and oldest festivals of its kind in the United States.
Since 1977, the Missouri Botanical Garden has produced the annual Japanese Festival in conjunction with the Japanese Activities Committee, a coalition of several Japanese-American organizations that provide art, dance, food, and entertainment for thousands of visitors each year. 

Agu 31 - Sept.1, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Sept. 2  10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Doors open at 9 a.m. 

 $15, $5 children (3 to 12), $5 members.
